Bondi Trattoria, nestled next to the iconic Bondi Beach in Sydney, is a charming Italian restaurant that captures the essence of a coastal dining experience. I recently had the pleasure of dining there and have mixed feelings to share. First and foremost, the atmosphere is truly delightful. The restaurant boasts a relaxed and inviting ambiance, offering a perfect blend of beachside charm and Italian flair. The scenic views of Bondi Beach add an extra layer of magic to the dining experience, making it an ideal spot for a romantic evening or a casual get-together with friends. However, when it comes to the food, I must say there's room for improvement. The menu is filled with classic Italian dishes, but the seafood options fell slightly short of expectations. While the flavors were good, I couldn't help but feel that the execution could be refined to elevate the overall dining experience. With Bondi Beach being a prime location for seafood, I expected a bit more finesse in that department. Despite this, Bondi Trattoria has all the makings of a great dining destination. The friendly staff and the picturesque setting contribute to a memorable visit. With a little fine-tuning in the seafood offerings, Bondi Trattoria could easily become a five-star dining experience. If you find yourself at Bondi Beach and craving Italian cuisine, it's worth a visit for the atmosphere alone.

A great Italian restaurant located near Bondi Beach. We arrived during their lunch hours, and despite our group of five, the waiter accommodated us at an outdoor table. We got a variety of pasta and seafood dishes, all of which were on point. The service was quick and friendly. While the food may be slightly on the pricey side, it’s definitely worth it for the overall experience. Recommended!

My partner and I booked a group dinner for 20 people. Our servers were all very very helpful and provided feedback on what drinks to order. They also managed our large group very well but serving food frequently and not too delayed, yet remained attentive throughout the night. The only thing that could have been improved were the portion sizes could have been far more generous. Between 20 people as part of the set menu, we had to share 3-4 steaks. Nonetheless, it was best god damn steak I’ve had months and every bite I had on that menu everything worth it.

The best meal we had in Sydney, they served the best entree . The lobster, that sauce definitely great with the bread. Also the waitstaff are so chatty and making jokes, the whole experiences were definitely the top notch. We had Prawn pasta and pumpkin ravioli, shocking, so great, pasta was al dente, yummy, juicy. Ravioli was simple and light. Do like it very much. And the end we only had some ice latte and Alcohol affogato as dessert. Perfect ending.

Bondi Trattoria serves up exceptional quality Italian themed food, I don't think it matters what you order it's almost certainly going up be great. On my previous visit I had the lamb kofta pizza 10/10 I would recommend it. Beef meatballs were ordered, I heard were excellent. See pictures what else my table ate, my family rated the food very highly. The service was very good and the restaurant is pet (dog) friendly. Images are of the pumpkin pizza, Deep fried Calamari. Lamb kofta Pizza Transport to the Trattoria is very easy you can drive and park or catch public transport, route 333 by bus will get you there.

We celebrated a 17th birthday with a family here. We got a lovely table away from foot traffic and main restaurant points (as requested). The service was efficient and the person serving us was very helpful. Every item ordered was delicious. Didn’t take many pictures as we were busy eating it but we had olives, garlic bread, tuna carpaccio, calamari, mussels, pizza, fish, pasta with crab, pasta with bolognese sauce and Napoli sauce pasta and a slice of tiramisu. The only suggestion I would have is air conditioning as it was a hot and humid day and fans just didn’t do it for us. All in all we had a great time and birthday celebration, we will gladly come back.
